HOW WE USE AI
I'm Lori Young, and I use AI in my business on purpose. I'd rather tell you how than leave you guessing.
Where it helps. At times, I use AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT and others to organize my thinking, shape a messy brain dump into a first draft, tighten my editing, transcribe and summarize recordings, and turn one article into the smaller pieces you see on my social channels, newsletter, Substack and my podcast. And sometimes, I just write everything by hand because that is the fastest and most human way to communicate. It's how one introverted strategist keeps showing up with depth without running her nervous system into the ground.
Where AI isn’t helpful. The ideas, the stories, the point of view, and the OfferMojo™ way of building a business come from me and from twenty-plus years of doing this work. Every piece I publish goes through my hands before it reaches you. Let’s just say there is a lot of arguing going on with AI because I know my expertise, my life and my POV. If something sounds like a robot wrote it, I don't let it out the door.
In my client work. I've built my own custom AI tools that capture what clients share in our sessions so nothing gets lost. The strategy and the judgment calls are mine, and I personally review every asset AI touches before a client sees it. Model training is turned off in the tools I use, so client material isn't used to train anyone's AI. I'm upfront about all of this before anyone signs on, and if working with AI in the mix isn't right for you, that's a completely fair call.
In my products. Offer X-Ray and the OfferMojo™ Squad are AI tools I designed around my framework and my years of experience and training. They're built to help you think more clearly about your offers, and they work best when you bring your own judgment to what they give you. You will get the best output if you follow the experience. I cannot guarantee the output will be the same as mine because your input greatly affects your output.
What I'll always do. I'll tell you when a tool I recommend pays me a commission. I'll never use AI to invent testimonials or client results. And if you're curious how something was made, ask me. I'll tell you.
